Career Pathways
Career Pathways is a framework for Adult Education that provides a seamless transition into post-secondary education and careers that result in a sustainable wage. Students will discover that many job clusters provide a career ladder with ever improving jobs and compensation.
Students in Adult Education will complete a career interest inventory and be provided with resources to explore their aptitudes and abilities. Student’s self-discovery will be combined with information regarding post-secondary learning opportunities and labor market statistics, in order to make wise choices about their future after completing their Adult Education program. Students exiting the Adult Education program will leave with a portfolio that will capture all of the information necessary to pursue the career of their choice.
